The company started as a small customs brokerage firm for the automotive industry and their parts suppliers in Detroit, Michigan. Today, W.F. Whelan Company is an ISO 9001:2008 certified, full service customhouse broker with over 40 years experience and 100 employees. With over 1.5 million square feet of warehouse space, we offer a wide range of logistics services including foreign trade zone, bonded container freight station, global freight forwarding, consolidation, customs brokerage, NVOCC, warehousing, JIT distribution, light assembly, quality inspection & containment andlocal cartage. We are also C-TPAT certified. We are a family owned and operated business and we endeavor to maintain our family ethics and Michigan based roots, which are at the core of our business.
