Fr 00000478), born in 2009 through the merger of 2 independent structures: • LOGISTIQUE PORTE OCEANE (LPO) created in 1994, which is specialized in hazardous waste transportation for recycling and/or destruction in accordance to the International Basel Convention. • SOGENA TRANSIT Le Havre, a subsidiary of SOFRINO SOGENA, the 2nd largest deep freeze storage provider in France as well as a major service provider for stevedoring (bulk, coal, logs, containers...), liner-and ships agency in all major French ports. The head office is based in Le Havre. LPO SOGENA also has fully owned sales agencies in main French cities and Asian ports. LPO SOGENA provides total logistics services such as International Freight Forwarding, Multimodal Door-to-Door services, Chemical and Dangerous Waste freight management, Perishable cargo, Project freight management, vessel and aircraft chartering, Liner Agency, export packing and consolidation, NVOCC, customs clearance in all French ports. Main activities: Chemicals and industrial waste: With 40 years of experience and a dedicated staff including a safety advisor, we provide containerized & conventional multimodal shipments door to door. We handle your shipments as per international regulations: IMDG, ADR, ADNR, RID, Basel Convention, Stockholm convention, and environmental laws...Safety & Security for men and cargo are our main concerns. LPO SOGENA is a well-known player in this field and works with trust and confidence between the different parties, producers /destructors and transport providers alike. • Project Cargo - OOG, Break Bulk, complex shipments LPO SOGENA offers an industry-focused expertise and works with a strong network of reliable and experienced suppliers. Our main concern is to provide the right technical solution at the right place, the right time and the right price to our clients. • Agri-food / Perishable With more than 2 500 TEU / year, and as per PIF PEC* customs registered volume, LPO Sogena is currently 2nd largest company in Agri-food forwarding in Le Havre.
