VAN Cargo S.A. offers a wide range of logistic services from national and international transport, ocean and air freight, warehousing and insurance brokerage services to customs services. We began operating in 1989 and since then have transformed from a locally operated firm to a large transport group with a European reach. Currently we operate all over Europe. This enables us to respond quickly and with flexibility to the needs of our customers. Our strength is not only our developed network of branches but also the size and diversity of our fleet. VAN currently operates over 2800 vehicles, including universal tilt trailers, cooling & isothermic trailers, LTL's up to 8 T, and tippers. The fleet is administered through a standardized computer system, which ensures that our forwarding agents have access to all of the vehicles at all times. Our vehicles are able to transport hazardous materials (ADR) and are properly insured. Our drivers are trained in the newest communication technology ensuring proper communication during order realization. To ensure uniform quality of our services throughout the group, all branches operate with the same procedures and high standards. Our offer is extended by the ability to perform warehouse services that span a total of about 73 thousands m2. Also we provide insurance brokerage services that allows us to quickly and dependably deal with rear transport problems. A customs agency enables us to ensure proper clearance procedures in international transport. Our ocean freight department offers handling support in the main European ports, which allows us to monitor and control the shipping in the most critical points of the transport process. We also provide comprehensive services in stuffing and stripping of containers, packing and sorting of goods, supplemented by road transport to designated domestic and international destinations.
