Goellner Spedition GmbH & KG. is a family owned forwarding company now in fifth generation, the forerunner, Christian Goellner started his forwarding business in Nienburg/Weser, Germany in 1878 with two horse carts, and in 1968 the company moved to current address in Kraher Weg 11. In 1986, growing business and innovative ideas helped to open new branches. In 1992 the Goellner Company started operations in the Baltic region, and Goellner Spedition UAB was founded in Klaipeda, Lithuania, with a new, own terminal opening in 2002. The group continued to expand and Goellner Spedition SIA in Riga, Latvia was founded in 1996, and the Vilnius branch in Lithuania was opened. Then in 1997 Gollner Spedition SAT opened in Kiev, Ukraine and again in 1998 Goellner Spedition IP started operations in Minsk, Belorussia. The representative office in Tallinn, Estonia which has existed since 2000, became an own company Goellner Spedition OU, in 2003.
