Atlantic Forwarding was founded in 1979 (headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland) and has flourished from a small forwarding enterprise to a company of substance. We enjoyed rapid and continual growth in all regions but found particular success in Asia, the core market from which the company operates. Demand for information in the transportation industry is constantly increasing, with quality and speed being the major issues in business today, so Atlantic strives to be the transport company setting new standards of quality and services. We believe that in addition to providing the full range of forwarding services, that a transport provider must offer value added services such as data-transmission and 24 hours-a-day online access, so that our customers can at any time get information on their shipments. ARIS (Atlantic Real-Time Information System) is a highly sophisticated IT platform that shares with the transport participants all the information in one single system. This centralized solution, hosted at our headquarters in Zurich, performs with real-time availability and the highest of security standards.
